Riljing
Lepcha is seen here explaining how God healed him from a growth that
was next to his right eye. Riljing was a Buddhist Lama, a high
priest Lama for his village high in the mountains of the Indian state
of Sikkim, close to the Chinese boarder. His village can only be
reached by hiking trails. I was the first white person to visit
his village. (Wow!)
The growth on his face was so severe that
his right eye was forced shut and he lost the vision in it. One
of the Christian pastors in the area by the name of Pradeep Rai
ministered to this Lama with prayer. The growth began to disappear,
and eventually his eye opened up and his vision returned. When I
saw him he was very close to a complete healing. Riljing's conclusion
was that Buddhism couldn't heal him but Jesus could, therefore he
wanted to leave is Buddhist priesthood and become a Christian.
The purpose of our trip to his village was to officially pray with he
and his wife to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, and to dedicate his
home to Jesus. |
